The Lalit Kala Akademi had organised two day workshop on 21st & 23rd January, 2015, for making staff members aware about the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and this workshop was conducted by Ms. Jyotika Kalra whose name was recommended by the National Commission for Women.
The Lalit Kala Akademi had organized Critic on Art programme in which Prof. Partha Mitter, was invited to deliver a lecture on 28th January, 2015.
- The Lalit Kala Akademi in collaboration with the State Trading Corporation of India Ltd. has conferred seven scholarships to the students from the discipline of Painting on 2nd March, 2015. The State Trading Corporation of India Ltd. has awarded these scholarships to young students who belong to low income group under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The Akademi in collaboration with the art education institutions in Delhi had shortlisted seven students for the scholarship. Following students were awarded scholarship in this programme :-
